Spring Break with Amplify Horse Racing!
Board the bus for a day of fun in the Bluegrass! Join Amplify Horse Racing during your spring break for a day exploring the Thoroughbred industry in Lexington, Kentucky and learning about careers with horses. On this day trip, we will visit WinStar Farm's training center, Hallway Feeds, a trainer's barn at Keeneland, and watch a race from the winner's circle on opening day of the Keeneland Spring Meet. Transportation, lunch, and Keeneland tickets are ALL included!
This event is best for students ages 12 and up (middle school, high school and college students welcome with valid student ID). Parents and guardians are invited to join in the fun too!
The schedule for the day is as follows:
8:30 - Participants meet at Keeneland Library to board the bus, travel to WinStar
9:00-10:00 - WinStar Training Center to learn about morning training
10:30-11:30 Hallway Feeds to learn about feeding racehorses
12:00-1:00 - Keeneland Track Kitchen for lunch*
1:00-1:45 - Visit a racehorse trainer’s barn
2:00-3:00 - Enjoy the races at Keeneland and watch a race from the winner’s circle*
Participants can spend the rest of the day at the races

All registrants will be required to sign a liability and media release waiver prior to the event.
