Spring Mentorship Program Applications CLOSE

Amplify Horse Racing’s Mentorship Program — launched in 2021 — connects youth and young adults (ages 15–25) with experienced Thoroughbred-industry professionals for a three-month session (spring or fall) designed to explore careers in racing, breeding, farm work and related equine fields. In the Spring session for 2026, applications open January 6 and close January 27; interviews run in early February; program acceptance notifications go out around February 18; and the three-month mentorship officially runs from March 1 to May 31.

Mentors and mentees meet at least once per month (often via Zoom or in person), with pairs encouraged to continue the relationship beyond the formal program — and outstanding participants may receive travel awards for immersive industry-experience events, such as Kentucky tours.
